Programs Available
- Part time 9:00 a.m. to 12 p.m. with optional lunch bunch till 1:30 or extended day till 3:30 p.m.
- Part time 12:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. with optional extended day till 6:00 p.m.
- Full time 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- After kindergarten to 6:00 p.m.
- Vacation programs during public school vacations
- Summer camp 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Summer camp runs for 6 weeks during July and August from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
All programs have choices of 2, 3, or 5 days.
SNS is closed the last two weeks in August and national holidays with a few exceptions.
Fall 2008-2009 Registration Information
Registration dates for all programs are as follows: Tuesday, November 13, 2007 8a.m.-11a.m. - In person registration for ALL students seeking FULL TIME program (8a.m.-6p.m, 5 days), EXTENDED DAY program (9a.m.-3:30p.m., 5 days) and ALL RETURNING STUDENTS AND SIBLINGS OF FORMER STUDENTS. Wednesday, November 14, 2007 - In person registration for NEW STUDENTS FROM THE COMMUNITY AT LARGE. The registration process is based on a point system and then on a first- come, first-serve priority from there. Priority will be given based on a point system. Families will accumulate points based on the following criteria:- 5 points for full time position, 8 am-6pm, five days per week
- 4 points for 9-3:30, five days per week
- 1 point for each year child has attended
- 1 point for each year sibling has attended
- 1 point for each year child has attended Summer Camp program
- 1 point for each year sibling has attended Summer Camp program
REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
- Parents or their designee must come in person to sign up for their first and second choices of programs and times. (Please remember that the morning 4’s program is 5 days per week only).
- Each adult may only register one child (with the exception of siblings).
- Completed and signed application for 2008-9
- A non-refundable registration fee of $150.00 payable to Saugatuck Nursery School
- A check in the amount of TWO month’s tuition. Upon signed acceptance of the program, this deposit becomes non-refundable and is applied to the last two month’s payments (May and June)
- Priority will be given to those students seeking the FULL TIME program (8a.m.-6p.m., 5 day) and EXTENDED DAY program(9a.m - 3:30p.m, 5 day) and then to those returning students based on earned points and program availability
- Confirmation of placement will be mailed two weeks after registration (November 30)
- Subsequently, a signed letter of acceptance will be required from parents within a two week period (December 14)
REGISTRATION WILL BE HELD IN THE NURSERY SCHOOL OFFICE. PLEASE USE NURSERY SCHOOL ENTRANCE AND FOLLOW HALLWAY AROUND TO THE LEFT.
