Three-Year-Old Program

The beginnings of socialization skills are paramount to this program. Teachers patiently lead each child into the school's atmosphere of sharing, group behavior, individualized exploration, and creativity.
The day begins with greeting each child and helping him/her feel comfortable.
A "meeting on the steps" consists of a greeting song, choosing helpers, and calendar, as well as an introduction to the day's activities.
Children then move into the pre-designed activities and free play, which includes blocks, house keeping, dress up, a two tiered play structure, water table, and easels
Snack time is another opportunity to teach manners and appreciation since each family takes turns contributing snacks.
Story time and music follows before outside play.
All activities take advantage of "teachable moments".
Children on the 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon schedule are picked up from the playground.
Lunch Bunch and all-day children go inside for lunch at approximately 12:40 p.m.
